Fitment Guide

Fitment Guide

At Crux Leathers, we prioritize the perfect fit for your custom leather racing suit. A proper fit ensures comfort and safety on the track. To achieve this, follow these steps:

  • Professional Measurements: We recommend a professional tailor for accurate measurements. Their expertise ensures precision.
  • Use Our Guide: Share our measurement guide with your tailor to capture all necessary details accurately.

With Crux Leathers, your racing suit will be tailored to perfection for both comfort and safety. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

Important Measurement Guidelines:

When taking measurements for your custom leather racing suit, it's crucial to follow these instructions:

Undergarments: Ensure that all measurements are taken while wearing exactly what you intend to have beneath your racing suit during rides. This ensures an accurate fit that accommodates your preferred undergarments, multiple layers, padding, and protection.
Body Measurements: We require precise body measurements, so please refrain from adding extra room or allowances to them. We will handle the necessary spacing and allowances for your comfort and safety.
Back Protector: If you plan to use a vest-type back protector, such as the Alpinestars Nucleon Series or Dainese Wave, please have your measurements taken while wearing it to ensure a tailored fit that accommodates this specific gear.

By following these guidelines, you'll help us create a custom racing suit that fits you perfectly while providing the necessary room and protection for your riding needs. Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priorities at Crux Leathers.

After experiencing the quality and craftsmanship of Crux Leathers firsthand at the Intermot 2025 Expo in Cologne, Dave Smith knew exactly who to trust for his championship season. Just before flying from Austria to New Zealand to compete in the NZSBK Sidecar Championship, Dave secured his custom race suit. We are proud to support Dave as he brings his dedication and our leather artistry to the national stage.

    John Fannin (Fanno)

A loyal member of the Crux family since 2023, John Fannin is a familiar face at club-level races across Australia. Over the years, John has trusted us with three different suits—and though it wasn’t part of the plan, he’s put our protection to the ultimate test with two high-speed "crash labs." Each time, our gear did exactly what it was engineered to do: keep a serious racer safe. John’s experience is a testament to the uncompromising safety we build into every suit.
